What lands in your inbox · Three minutes, once a month

This isn't a marketing newsletter. It's what
we'd tell you
in the clinic.

Short letters from a doctor of physical therapy on training smarter, recovering faster, and building a body that keeps up with what you love. No fear-mongering. No fluff. One idea you can use today.

Once A Month. That's It

WHO’S WRITING?

HEY - I'M DR. HECTOR

I built Voltex because I got tired of watching capable people get handed a sheet of stretches and a shrug. You don’t need to be babied. You need to know what your body is actually asking for – and how to train through it instead of around it.

So every few weeks I write one short letter about the stuff that actually moves the needle: load management, recovery that’s worth your time, what the research really says, and how to keep getting stronger in your 40s, 50s, and beyond.

If you run, lift, swing a racquet, or just want to still be doing this in twenty years – this is for you!

PT, DPT, PhD · Founder, Voltex Physical Therapy

QUESTIONS

Before you subscribe

The letters draw on the same work we do in the clinic every day. If one of these is you, you’ll recognize yourself in most issues.

How often does The Current come out?

Once a month. That’s it. One letter, about three minutes to read. No daily emails and no sales blasts between issues.

Who writes The Current?

Dr. Hector Tricas, PT, DPT, PhD, founder of Voltex Physical Therapy in Austin, Texas. Every letter is written by him, not a marketing agency.

Do I have to be a Voltex client to subscribe?

No. The Current is free and open to anyone. Most subscribers have never set foot in the clinic — they just want better information about training and recovery.

Is this only for runners and endurance athletes?

No. We work with runners, triathletes, tennis and pickleball players, golfers, and lifters, and the letters cover principles that apply across all of them: load management, recovery, strength, and training past 40.

Will you sell my email address?

No. Your email is used only to send The Current, and every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link.
